    Job Description of Construction Site Supervisor

Job Summary Coordination of site construction activities and supervision of field personnel as required for successfully completing the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining highest quality, supervising trade and field personnel while administering good safety practices with all on-site activities, maintaining the site office and closing out projects. Reports to Director.

Core Responsibilities;

 Coordination and supervision of construction activities

 Directing field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship conforming to original plans and specifications.

 Maintenance of construction schedule. Identifying and solving problems.

 Ordering materials and scheduling inspections as necessary throughout the process.

 Understanding plans and specifications of the project.

 Maintaining positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.

 Preparing, scheduling and supervising completion of a final punch list.

 Promoting safety. Encouraging safe work practices and rectifying job site hazards immediately. Ensuring company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy.

 Maintaining an organized job site, including the construction office

Education and Experience

 Desirable study in construction management preferred but not required.

 Min. 5 years of successful Project Management/Construction site supervision experience with a builder

 Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of construction

 Experienced in managing multiple projects.

 3 years of experience of working in a metro city.
